The Isla Santa Catalina Kingsnake is an insular endemic found only on Isla Santa Catalina located in the Municipality of Loreto in the Gulf of California. This island is 16 miles (25 km) from the Baja California peninsula and its herpetofauna is nearly entirely endemic. This species is known from only a single adult male and little is known about its distribution on the island, which is 8 miles (13 km) long.
